New for 2023, the Bauer Vapor Hyperlite 2 Senior Goalie Catcher has an improved anatomical round shape in the palm, which offers increased comfort, while a wide T-Trap double tee design gives a large, forgiving catch area that is easy to close. The palm features CURV Composite and Bauer’s new Defense Cloud Tech (DCT) material along with Rebound Control foam to absorb impacts and reduce stingers. The DCT material replaces what had traditionally been Poron in previous models with a lighter, more comfortable material that retains less water. Combined with a Catchlite palm the HYP2RLITE offers the best of protection and easy closure. The CatchGrip+ material in the palm liner crosses over from the Mach line to help give added control in the fingers and thumb, while a new baseball-inspired overlap pinky finger stall offers additional added comfort and control. An Aerolite cover offers lightweight protection with full adjustment for a tighter or looser fit depending on goalie preference.
